After doing Lifted Her Look for so many weeks, it felt weird to not share my recent outfits here. I made a Lifted Her Look category up at the top – you can click there to see all of my Lifted Her Look posts there. Here’s what I learned from the Lifted Her Look challenge.
I’ve been trying to continue to get dressed in a legitimate outfit every day. Honestly, I’ve just been enjoying my clothes more and I love putting together outfits that I feel good in. So here’s what I wore last week –

I needed a quick but cute look for a busy day of errands which suddenly feels like an athletic event when lugging a 25lb. toddler around.
This sweatshirt is totally plain – just blush pink. I bought it on a whim years ago and I’m surprised by how often I wear it. It’s so simple that it goes with anything! Mine is H&M but here’s a similar option from Old Navy.
My leggings are from Athleta. They’re the only pair I own from Athleta and were a gift but oh man, are they heavenly. I love that they have pockets on the sides that you can put your phone in for running.
These shoes are a new and they’re my first ever pair of New Balances. I have no regrets! They’re so comfy and they’re on sale for $59.99 and are available in lots of colors – including black and grey.
I sometimes do a little front tuck with this sweater but sometimes I leave it out. On this day, I opted to leave it untucked. This sweater was one of my favorite Old Navy purchases this winter and comes in several colors and a few stripes. They’re all on super sale!
My jeans are from ASOS. I got them at a thrift store (I think it was Plato’s Closet). They still sell them here. If you’re ever hesitant about ASOS, just so you know, their shipping is fast and their returns are free. I keep wanting to buy this similar pair from Old Navy but I can’t justify buying a pair that’s so similar!
These booties are my most worn booties ever. They’re the BP Barris Bootie from Nordstrom. The most comfortable booties you’ll ever wear! And they go with everything.
My chambray is old and from Banana Republic outlet. They sell a super similar shirt still at Old Navy. It’s such a wardrobe staple and I’ve had fun trying to layer it differently.
And this vest. I wish I’d bought it in grey or black but I thought I should venture outside my comfort zone. I love this vest, and I’ve never really loved a vest. It’s the only vest I’ve found that is figure flattering – it kind of flares out the tiniest bit from the waist – and also not so puffy that you can’t wear it under a jacket.
Jeans are the same as above – ASOS.
My flats are new! Like all pricey purchases, I coveted these for months. My best friend has them and insisted that they are a wardrobe staple. Finally DSW had a 20% off sale and I snagged them. You can find them at Nordstrom or DSW.
I found this sweater dress for $14 at Uniqlo and I couldn’t pass it up! It’s this one but they’re almost sold out and only have one size left.
After I bought it I sent a picture of myself wearing it and asked my bestie if I should keep it. She said she didn’t love it but followed that up with “it reminds me of something Sydney from The Daybook would wear”. Well you know I’m keeping it now! haha
Shoes are these vans. They are the most comfortable and I’ve walked miles a day in them. I got them at Plato’s Closet for $16!
This Abercrombie sweater was a black Friday purchase and I’m so happy with it. Abercrombie quality has really gone up and this sweater just feels really expensive (though I got it half off). Unfortunately it’s no longer available.
These black jeans are from Free People. I got them on Poshmark. If you’re looking for a similar basic black jean, I’d recommend these black sculpt rockstars from Old Navy. I’ve tried them on before and they’re pretty great.
My booties were a great find from Sole Society. Sole Society pretty consistently has good sales on their shoes and I’ve found them to be well-made. They’re no longer available. These are super similar though and are on sale for $44.98!
My hat was from Abercrombie but was sold out all winter. This one from Amazon is almost an exact dupe.
Alright let me brag for a second. This sweater is my best ever deal at a non-thrift store. I got it at Gap Outlet for $1.49! Yes, that was the price on the tag (pats herself on the back). Obviously it isn’t available online but I feel a little proud every time I wear it.
I’ve been really in to wearing white jeans in the winter this year. These are the Old Navy Rockstars. I “hemmed” them myself by cutting the bottoms off.
My shoes are a great dupe for the Steve Madden sneakers and even look similar to a way pricey Vince pair. They’re from Payless! This is this years version and it’s fur-lined.
I felt so trendy and cool wearing this outfit, not even gonna lie. It’s my new favorite outfit.
My sweater was a Plato’s Closet find for $7. Way too much of my wardrobe is this blush/mauve color and I’m not even mad about it.
My jeans were an H&M red tag find for $10. I love them so much so it’s a freaking tragedy that they’re getting a hole in the crotch (sob). I’m eyeing this pair of Levi’s to replace them.
Shoes are Sole Society. Here is a super similar pair on sale for $44!
Thanks for humoring me and letting me share my outfits! I’m going to be doing this a little more because really, I like doing it.
