I’ve mentioned before that I work with college students. Working with them is one of the best parts of my job. They remind me not to get old too fast, but also that I’ve come a damn long way in the last few years. Remember, the 10 things college kids just don’t get? Yeah, they are still rocking leggings as pants on the daily.
Either way, the students always find a way to make me laugh and today, I’m going to share with you something I’m fairly sure they invented but I will now take credit for: The One Back Game.
Every Monday night we have a meeting and each Monday, we play this game.
Here’s how you play:
If you click on “photos of ______” and then instead of clicking the right (forward) button, you click the left (backwards) button, you stumble upon the first photo the person put on Facebook. The results are glorious. We die laughing each week and even though they probably enjoy it more than I do (because, you know, they socialize together and stuff and I’m basically just their “resource”), it’s one of my favorite parts of my week.
I don’t know why this never occurred to me to do and it makes Facebook stalking a lot more fun. The longer the person has had Facebook, the funnier it is. I think most people forget how long they’ve had Facebook and how many hilarious and embarrassing pictures there are of them. My first photo is from the first week of college circa 2006.
I’ve since taken to playing this game whenever I’m a little bored. Trust me, it’ll get some laughs so try not to snarf your afternoon coffee in front of your boss. Hopefully this will help some of you get through this Monday afternoon. Enjoy!
