The entire series of Friends is on Netflix!
Since it would take about 80 hours to watch the entire series start to finish, I thought I’d share my personal favorite Friends moments. Although if you’ve never watched it start to finish, by all means, watch it start to finish.
There are tons of laugh out loud, funny every single time, will just never get old, Friends moments. In no particular order, these are the Friends moments that (in my opinion) make the show one of the best sitcoms of all time.
1. “Ross married Rachel in Vegas and got divorced! Again!”
Mrs. Geller [to Ross]: It was you?
Monica: And Dad, you know that mailman you got fired? He didn’t steal your Playboys. Ross did!
Ross: Yeah, well hurricane Gloria didn’t break the porch swing. Monica did!
Monica: Ross hasn’t worked at the museum for a year!
Ross: Monica and Chandler are living together!
Monica: Ross married Rachel in Vegas and got divorced… again!
Phoebe: I love Jacques Cousteau!
Rachel: I wasn’t supposed to put beef in the trifle!
Joey: I wanna go!
Mrs. Geller: That’s a lot of information to get in 30 seconds.
So much. So fast. So funny.
The One Where Ross Got High (Season 6, Episode 9)
2. “He’s not backing down! He went to get lotion!”
This entire episode is perfection but when Phoebe tries to seduce Chandler and throws in this dance move, no one could resist laughing. What follows is one of the most epic Friends moments…”because I’m in love with Monica!”
The One Where Everybody Finds Out (Season 5, Episode 14)
3. Princess Consuela Bananahammock
The One With Princess Consuela (Season 10, Episode 14)
4. “I’m making Fajitas!”
Ross: No. We should all have dinner. Yes, we’ll do it tomorrow night. I’ll cook!!
Joey: Look, don’t you think that will be a little weird?
Ross: Weird? What? What’s weird? The only thing weird would be if someone didn’t like Mexican food, because I’m making fajitas!!
Ross was not fine.
The One Where Ross is Fine (Season 10, Episode 2)
5. “Well they should put that on the box!!!”
Ross: Yeah, I need uh… I’m just—I don’t know—I don’t understand, umm, how this happened? We-we used a condom.
Rachel: I know. I know, but y’know condoms only work like 97% of the time.
Ross: What? What? What?!! Well they should put that on the box!!!
Rachel: They do!
Ross: No they don’t!!! (He runs to the bedroom to check and returns with his box of condoms.) Well they should put it in huge black letters!!!!
The One Where Rachel Tells… (Season 8, Episode 3)
6. “That is brand new information!”
Because everyone knew that Ross was the father before he did. This is possibly my second most quoted line of television ever. After this one.
The One Where Rachel Tells… (Season 8, Episode 3)
7.”Imagine how Ross would feel if he couldn’t teach us about dragons.”
Monica: Okay, if it means that much to you…
Phoebe: It does! How would you feel if you couldn’t share your cooking? Or-or imagine how Ross would feel if he couldn’t teach us about dragons.
Monica: Dinosaurs.
Phoebe: Potato, potaato.
I couldn’t find a picture, gif, or video of this quote anywhere but it’s one of my very favorite lines from the show.
The One With the Secret Closet (Season 8, Episode 14)
8. “Judge all you want, but…”
Monica: “Married a lesbian, left a man at the altar, fell in love with a gay ice dancer, threw a girl’s wooden legs in a fire, lives in a box!”
The One With Chandler In A Box (Season 4, Episode 8)
9. “Do you think he knew I was here?”
The One With Ross’s Wedding Part 2 (Season 4, Episode 23)
10. “So now, the real question is, who put those fossils there, and why?”
Ross: Ok, Pheebs. See how I’m making these little toys move? Opposable thumbs. Without evolution, how do you explain opposable thumbs?
Phoebe: Maybe the overlords needed them to steer their spacecrafts.
The One Where Heckles Dies (Season 2, Episode 3)
11. “He’s a transpondster!”
There are so many great lines from the “who knows who better” game. The entire storyline of the girls losing the good apartment was fabulous. Which of course led to…”Has it always been purple?”
The One With The Embroyos (Season 4, Episode 12)
12. And last but not least, THIS:
The One With All The Wedding Dresses (Season 4, Episode 20)
With 10 seasons, it’s would be impossible for me not to have missed a couple dozen (hundreds even?) hilarious moments. Which Friends moment is your favorite? Share in the comments and give the season and episode if you can! Happy re-watching, everyone!
