As of today, I’ve been blogging for one whole year!
I truly can’t believe it’s already a been a year and yet it feels like I’ve been doing this forever. Though that could be because I was an intense blog
reader lurker for over a year before I had my own.
Blogs are a funny thing, aren’t they?
You invite people into your world. You hope they are kind. You hope they enjoy reading.
You hope you are interesting enough that they keep reading.
This year, I personally opted to dupe people into reading by providing 800 too many pictures of my puppy. Call it a gimmick but this little guy attracted more attention than me or my writing.
Since I began blogging, big changes have taken place in my life.
I left the corporate world and went to work for a non-profit.
Nav and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary.
Nav and I moved in together.
We brought home Archie Oliver.
I got a better camera and tried to be a photographer.
All our stuff got stolen.
I reflected on 2012.
This blog has been a huge help in documenting life events and remembering how I felt at the time. Just looking back at those above, I’m already so thankful for this little corner of the internet.
But most of all, I’m thankful to those of you who stop by.
Who confirmed that Archie is in fact, the cutest dog in history.
Whose encouragement kept me from quitting.
And whose friendship I have come to value so much.
