Dear real sugar, I’m so glad I switched over to you back in December. Eating artificial sweeteners was starting to worry me and luckily, I haven’t gained a pound from the sugar! I like the raw turbinado sugar from Trader Joe’s.
My delicious coffee this morning. With real sugar and TJ’s Soymilk Creamer. Yum!
Dear tan I’m not going to get this summer, I’ve made peace with my paleness. I don’t want to get Melanoma, so it’s best for me to have SPF 50 on at all times. Here’s my promise to you, dear skin: I’ll treat you well from now on. And I’ll be setting a good example for my red-headed siblings. No more crispy for me. See here for a post on why I’m so nervous about my previous behaviors biting me in the tush. So you know what, tan version of me? I’m going to try my best not to miss you.
Dear roots, You are starting to look a little rough. Sure, I softened the base a few weeks ago, but these days if my hair isn’t squeaky clean, you’re just so dang obvious. Maybe the sun could lighten you up a bit? Cause I kind of can’t afford a full highlight this paycheck.
Someone please tell me they aren’t so bad. It’s just dirty blonde roots, right?
Dear Grey’s Anatomy, I am so beyond upset with you about the season finale last night. Sure, it was thoroughly entertaining. But (spoiler alert…stop reading now if you haven’t seen it) really, Lexie!?! Meredith has no family as it is. She was it! I’m also heartbroken that we won’t see Lexi and Mark get back together and find happiness. I’ll still watch next season but there better be a lot of happy endings coming our way. I want more Zola, a Christina and Hunt reunion, and lots of Arizona and Callie love. Oh and if Jackson really does leave Grey’s, I will lose the will to live. He’s the real McDreamy in my book 😉
Dear boyfriend, You are beyond wonderful. Thanks for letting me be my true self, all the time. And for loving me for it.
Have a wonderful weekend!
